About High Peak Triathlon Club

High Peak Triathlon club is based in the Peak District Spa Town of Buxton. The Club's early days were focused on providing coached lane swimming for adults in Buxton and the surounding area.

What we do!

High Peak Triathlon Club is a small and growing club, which started only a few years ago. We comprise of people interested in Swimming, Cycling and Running - sometimes all together! We have organised a number of Duathlon and Triathlon events throughout the year. The club is centered around Buxton, but covers, as the name suggest, the High Peak and beyond. Members take part in a range of events such as cross Solent swims, cycling time trials, Audax events, 24 hr MTB races, fell races and 10km races as well as Duathlons and Triathlons of Sprint, Olympic, Half Ironman distance and now we even have three Ironman finishers!

The club is affiliated to the British Triathlon Federation (BTF), your £25.00 annual membership (for senior and veteran athletes in 2016) will qualify you for a £11.00 discount off your BTF membership. The club have five BTF qualified Coaches: David, Diane, Mat, Stephen and Henry. The club committee is keen to increase the range of training sessions offered and will award a bursary to part pay the course fee should anyone like to want to become a coach.
